The scope

Three flooring systems. One complete project.

Hallways

Border-designed carpets installed across nine levels of hotel hallways, creating a consistent finish throughout.

Bedrooms & suites

Existing floors uplifted, floor screed built up over underfloor heating, acoustic underlay installed and Karndean glue-down LVT laid throughout.

03

Serving area

Existing safety vinyl uplifted, the subfloor prepared and screeded, then new safety vinyl installed with hot-welded joints.

Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

A programme of flooring works completed across various hospital wards, including circulation areas, patient rooms and shower facilities.

The scope

Prepared for demanding clinical environments.

Floor uplift

Existing linoleum was carefully uplifted across the hospital wards to expose the subfloor for preparation.

Subfloor preparation

The floors were prepared and screeded to create a smooth, stable base for the new safety flooring.

03

Altro safety flooring

New Altro safety flooring was fitted throughout, with fully cap-and-coved edges providing a durable, hygienic finish.

04

Shower-room drainage

Shower-room floors were mechanically ground to form the correct falls, directing water safely towards the drains.
